💡 Care Guide

👍 Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. The mint variegation is most vibrant in good light — avoid direct sun, which can scorch the delicate pale sections of the leaves. An east- or west-facing window is perfect.

💧 Watering: Water thoroughly when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. The Monstera Mint prefers to dry out slightly between waterings — never let it sit in soggy soil. In winter, reduce frequency as growth slows.

🌱 Soil: Use a well-draining, airy potting mix — a blend of quality potting mix, perlite, and orchid bark works beautifully. Good drainage is essential to keep those roots healthy and happy.

🌡️ Temperature & Humidity: Thrives in typical home temperatures of 65–85°F (18–29°C). Loves humidity — mist occasionally, use a pebble tray, or place near a humidifier for best results. Keep away from cold drafts and air conditioning vents.

🌾 Fertilizing: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength. Avoid over-fertilizing, which can cause tip burn on the delicate variegated sections.

🪴 Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when roots begin to circle the bottom of the pot. Choose a pot just 1–2 inches larger — too large a pot can lead to overwatering issues.

📍 A Note on Variegation

The Monstera Mint's variegation is genetic and stable, meaning it will continue to produce its signature mint and cream patterning as it grows. However, like all variegated plants, the exact pattern of each new leaf is unpredictable — which is part of what makes every plant so special and personal.
